On Feb. 20, at Tuan Chau International Tourism and Entertainment Complex, a ground-breaking ceremony was co-organized by Tuan Chau Group (TCG) and the Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company kick off the construction of a heliport.
Invested by the TCG and the Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company, the heliport will consist of a park and a terminal with the total area of over 3,000 meters square. It is expected to be operational in March, 2019.
Once operated, Tuan Chau heliport will be connected with Gia Lam airport in Ha Noi to exploit flights between Hanoi and Ha Long, and the ones to Ha Long Bay to meet the demands of tourists by the advanced helicopters Mi17, Ec and Bel 505 which are able to handle more than 10 passengers.
