According to Quang Ninh Tourism department, the number of tourists visiting Quang Ninh on the National Day holiday reached 60,000 arrivals. Of which, the number of international tourists and tourists staying overnight was 13,000 (a rise of 8 percent) and 34,000 (up 9 percent), respectively.
The department requested travel agencies within the province to enhance strict policies on upgrading infrastructure, fire prevention and fire fighting, food safety and security for the tourists, aiming at ensuring the business environment on the occasion.
