On Dec, 28, in Binh Lieu district, Vice Chairwoman of QNPPC Vu Thi Thu Thuy had a meeting with Binh Lieu's leaders regarding tourism development of the district in the period of 2015-2020.
At the meeting, representatives of revelant sectors and departments raised their opinions on Binh Lieu's advantages and challenges in developing tourism. They also proposed specific measures for the district to overcome difficulties, promote tourism and develop Binh Lieu into an attractive tourist destination of Quang Ninh
In conclusion of the meeting, QNPPC's Vice Chairwoman highly appreciated the leadership of Binh Lieu's leaders in boosting tourism. In order to develop Binh Lieu as one of the highlight tourism spots of Quang Ninh, she then requested the district to take important actions, such as: reassessing and improving the existing tourism products in a sustainable way; applying professional management and organisation of tourism activities; upgrading infrastructure at tourism sites; working closely with tour operators and travel agents in developing tours and attracting tourists. In addition, she stressed the importance of the development of a plan on enhancing the the quality of tourism human resource as well as tourism promotion and marketing.
