On Jan. 5, in Ha Long city, a meeting has been held to adopt the overall script for New Year’s Eve ceremony with the title of “ To the Party - Happy spring of the Year of Dragon 2012”. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Vu Thi Thu Thuy, vice-chairwoman of QNPPC and attended by leaders of provincial departments, sectors and Ha Long City People’s Committee.
As planned, the ceremony will be held at the outdoor stage of the Cultural Center Area in Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long city on Jan. 22 (or Dec. 29 of Lunar calendar). This event will be broadcasted live on Quang Ninh Television (QTV).
The ceremony will be divided into four main sections, including: Formal opening ceremony and happy new year greetings from the provincial leaders; Special art erformances; a 15 minute-fireworks display; General Art Performance; Especially, besides the exciting fireworks display, there will be a high-tech laser light performance.
After listening to the opinions of representatives from provincial departments and sectors, Mrs. Vice-chairwoman of QNPPC agreed to all contents of the script.
She required relevant sectors to ensure traffic safety, lighting, and fire prevention during the ceremony. She also directed the Provincial Military Headquarter to collaborate with Ha Long City People’s Committee to find a suitable and safe location for fireworks displaying. Duration of fireworks will be exactly 15 minutes in compliance with regulations of the Government.
