From Feb.9 to 13, all of the companies under the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited. (TKV) planted nearly 83,000 trees of various species in response to the tree-planting campaign honouring the late President Ho Chi Minh.
The companies which growed a high number of trees include Deo Nai Coal JSC (36,000 trees), Tay Nam Coal JSC (15,000 trees), Cao Son Coal JSC (6,000 trees), Ha Lam Coal JSC (4,000 trees), etc.
As scheduled, by the end of February, these businesses will have planted additional 26,600 green trees in order to hit TKV’s target towards growing more than 109,000 trees on the occasion of the first days of the year.
Almost all enterprises conduct tree-planting activites at disposal areas and production sites, contributing to restoring the environment, greening bare land and bare hills as well as alleviating negative impacts on the enviornmental surroundings.
