To date, 75% of the project to upgrade and expand Thien Cung, Dau Go piers has been completed . The constructor has made their great efforts to overcome difficult construction conditions so that the project can be completed on time aiming at improving service quality to serve the visitors, meeting the increasing demand of tourist boats picking and dropping visitors at these attractions on Ha Long Bay.
Being kicked off since 2010, the Thien Cung and Dau Go piers project which has a total investment capital of VND 53,477 bln funded from the budget for restoration and conservation of Ha Long Bay. This project has been implemented by Thang Long Technology Mechanic Construction Joint Stock Company (based in Ha Noi). The project consists of Thien Cung and Dau Go berths.
To date, the constructor has completed over 75% of their work. Specifically, all the main items of the Thien Cung berth were completed and used. Two third of the work of Dau Go one has been implemeted. In order to ensure the quality and the construction progress, a supervision team was established to manage and supervise the construction progress and quality. As planned, the project will be completed by the end of August 2012.
