In order to help local businesses to deal with difficulties, the PPC working team led by the Vice Chairman Do Thong on May 22 had a meeting with companies operating in fields of construction and industry in Ha Long city, Cam Pha city and Hoanh Bo district.
Local businesses asked the PPC for more support in the wake of economic hardships.
At the meeting, The Vice Chairman Do Thong and other team members answered the questions raised by nearly 40 industrial and construction enterprises in the three localities.
Almost all these companies requested the provincial government to assist them with solving some problems related to land clearance, land hiring price, product consumption, investment preferential policies, etc.
The Vice Chairman directed the authorities of Ha Long city, Cam Pha city and Hoanh Bo district to balance the budget and pay for the contractors who had implemented construction projects. The localities may ask the PPC for financial support in case of unbalanced investment.
Regarding to site clearance problems in some urban area projects in Ha Long Southern Station, Dai Yen ward (Ha Long city), Yen Thanh ward (Uong Bi city) and Quang Hanh ward (Cam Pha city), the Vice Chairman asked the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to work closely with the localities and investors to find out the most reasonable solutions.
For other requests related to adjustment of some construction plannings, change in land use purpose and so on, the team committed to consider and report to the PPC for final decision.
Also at the meeting, the Vice Chairman Do Thong announced main content of the Government’s Resolution No. 13, which covers a series of measures to ease difficulties against businesses and support the market in the wake of economic harships. Thus, he urged the business community to closely follow the resolution and timely recommend useful solutions to the local government./.
