Ha Long city, Nov. 7, at Cai Lan Port (), Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has collaborated with Saigontourist Travel Service Company to organize a special program to welcome the five-star SuperStar Aquarius (under the Malaysian Star Cruise Company) bringing 1,200 tourists and crew members ( most of them are Chinese) to Ha Long city.
This is the first cruise route of the ship to Ha Long city during its new journey of Hai Nan (China)-Ha Long (Vietnam). Representatives of Culture, Sports and Tourism Department, Foreign Affairs Department, Ha Long city’s People Committee and the Directorate of Saigontourist and its branch in Quang Ninh have gifted the flowers and presents to the Captain and tourists.
After docking at Cai Lan port, the crew members and tourists have voted for Ha Long Bay as one of the new seven natural wonders of the world.
As scheduled, tourists from SuperStar Aquarius visited Ha Long Bay, Yen Tu relic, Long Tien pagoda, Ha Long market and enjoyed traditional art performances and water puppet shows…At 4p.m of the same day, the SuperStar Aquarius cruise left Ha Long for Chan May port ( Thua Thien Hue), then return to Hainan.
