In the morning of Sept 21, at Muong Thanh hotel (Bai Chay, Ha Long), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has received the delegation of international parade of China that has crossed ASEAN countries to Quang Ninh.
Attendants of the reception ceremony are leaders of professional departments of sport and culture of Quang Ninh (Vietnam) andNan Ning ( China). There are also representatives from foreign affair bodies of the two countries. This event is a part of the cooperation program on sports and culture between the two countries aiming at enhancing the development of the two side on in this area.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Ministry and Quang Ninh department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have wished all the members of the parade good health and success in their journey.
The leaders of Nan Ning authorities, cultural Chinese counselors in Vietnam sincerely thanked the Quang Ninh government and people for their good sentiment and warm welcome to the delegation.
Also at the ceremony, the parade’s members have voted for Ha Long Bay as one of the new seven wonders of the world.
Ha Long is the first stopover destination and also departure of their journey. The parade includes 157 members and 28 cars that will cross through 6 ASEAN countries, including Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore and Vietnam.
On the same date, the parade continued their journey to Vinh city through Cau Treo border gate.
