With the theme of “Tien Yen tourism, potential and development”, the talk which was held on July 29 in the district drew the attention of a great number of travel agents and press agencies.
Bestowed with a great deal of attractions, such as Pac Sui waterfall, Mui Long Vang beach, Dong Rui mangrove forest, etc, Tien Yen is home to a number of ethnic minority groups in the northeastern region with rich diversity of cultural identities, bringing Tien Yen great advantages to develop community-based tourism in parallel with preserving and promoting local cultural identity.
During the talk, many opinions were raised in order to develop Tien Yen’s tourism sector. Despite owning as many as beautiful spots, one of the biggest challenges facing the Tien Yen’s tourism sector is infrastructur and tourism services. Otherwise, Tien Yen needs to take actions to involve ethnic groups living in the district to join hands in fostering community-based tourism and developing friendly Tien Yen in line with preserving cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities.
Previously, the delegates from travel and press agencies had taken surveys to some of the attractions in the district.
