On August 24, Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh worked with Quang Ninh’s leaders on a number of important issues of the province.
Speaking at the working session, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh emphasized that Quang Ninh has an important position in economy, politics, and the national defense and security. "With its outstanding potential and opportunities, Quang Ninh needs to continue promoting its strengths in order to deploy new and creative ways in socio-economic development", added the Standing PM.
In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated Quang Ninh's economic growth. Also, he especially highlighted Quang Ninh in the state management of land planning, environment and natural resources, investment attraction, and in effectively implementing the major projects.
Additionally, he underscored the province's outstanding achievements in the socio, economic, cultural and education development, notably good results in social welfare, new rural construction, administrative reform and the provincial competitiveness improvement.
Earlier, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, along with his delegation had visited Mong Cai city to inspect the prevention of smuggling, trade frauds and fake goods in the locality. He had visited the Border Station of Mong Cai international border gate; Bac Luan Bridge II and Van Don International Airport, as well.
