On April 4, in Ha Long city, the monitoring delegation of QNPPC headed by Vice-Chairman Nguyen Nhu Hien had a meeting with departments of Agriculture and Rural Development; Natural Resource and Environment.
At the meeting, the delegation listened to and received the participants’ opinions and recommendations regarding the review of forest area and forest land which are not used or ineffectively used by enterprises; tax exemption and reduction policies applied for using forestry land, supporting forestry development by using local budget; enhancing State management capacity of the authorities at all levels and sectors in forest protection and development.
Also at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hien has requested functional authorities to enhance their collaboration in forest management. He requested the two above departments to consider the current limitations and propose the functional bodies to offer suitable mechanisms for effective protection and development of the forest resource.
