On Jan. 18, at the provincial library, the opening ceremony of Spring Newspapers Festival 2017 was held. The ceremony was attended by representatives from Quang Ninh Journalist Association, revelant departments and sectors, local and central press agencies, as well as a great number of readers in the province.
Around 300 press publications and magazines from Quang Ninh province, the Central and local press agencies nationwide are on display at the festival. They are classified into various sections, such as: art and literature; science and technology; politics, society and economy so that readers could easily find the one they wish to read.
The Spring Newspaper Festival 2017 is one of the activities commencing a series of cultural activities with the topic of “To the Party - Happy Spring of the Year of Chicken 2017”. With diversity of publications and great amount of information, the festival will be an attraction to the local people and visitors on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
The event runs until Feb. 1.
