On June 7th, in Ha Long city, a signing ceremony was held between Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Boston Consulting Group (the U.S) to sign an agreement to build Quang Ninh’s master plan for tourism development to 2020 and in vision of 2030.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ha Quang Long- Director of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, representatives from relevant departments and sectors, Mr. Douglas E.Jackson-CEO of BCG in Thailand and his entourage.
After a number of working sessions with a variety consulting groups, QNPPC has decided to select Boston Consulting group (hereby BCG) as an unit to consult Quang Ninh to build its master plan for tourism development to 2020 and in a vision to 2030. BCG is the third leading consulting group in the world with high expertise and good experience in consulting many governments and cities to develop their tourism developmentstrategy.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ha Quang Long highly appreciated the BCG's preparations, the cooperation and assisstance of Advanced International Corporation (AIC) to reach the agreement. He expected that the master plan for Quang Ninh tourism development will be completed in the soonest time.
For his part, the CEO of BCG in Thailand Douglas E.Jackson pledge to make the best efforts to complete the master plan for Quang Ninh tourism development to 2020 and in vision to 2030.
