The new Ha Long Heli Tours, provided by the Northern Helicopter Company under Vietnam Helicopter Corporation, was officially launched in Quang Ninh on May 10th to satisfy tourists’ demands for discovering and enjoying the scenic beauty of Ha Long Bay from above.
Helicopters used for the new service are Bell 505, always available at Tuan Chau heliport to serve customers at any time without prior notice.
Customers could have three options for their trips including 12, 25 and 40 minutes with different journeys to meet their demands. The journey will start from the Tuan Chau heliport and fly over famous attractions on Ha Long Bay including Thien Cung Cave, Reu and Ti Top Islands, as well as Bai Tu Long Bay, etc.
Thus, with the opening of Halong Heli Tours, Quang Ninh officially has one more attractive high-class tourism service to better serve the needs of those who would like to enjoy the magnificient beauty of Ha Long Bay from above.
Earlier, since 2014, Hai Au airline, (under Thien Minh Group), also launched a seaplane service to view Ha Long Bay from above, with a flight departing from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay to enjoy the panorama of Ha Long Bay from the most beautiful view at an altitude of 500-3000m ...
This new kind of service helps visitors to enjoy the unique beauty of the World Natural heritage site Ha Long Bay with a broader and more extensive view.
The operation of new and modern tourism services will contribute to affirming Ha Long - Quang Ninh as a world-class tourism center. In particular, the high-end service like Ha Long Heli Tours is expected to meet the diverse needs of tourists and attract more tourists to Ha Long – Quang Ninh, especially high yield tourists.This is an important factor to foster Quang Ninh’s tourism industry.
