Secretary Pham Minh Chinh receives Vietnam and Tatarstan composer union

In the framework of the Asian-Eurpopean New International Music Festival 2014, Secretary Pham Minh Chinh had a coutersy meeting with Mr. Rashid Kalimullin, Chairman of the Tatarstan Composers Union and Mr. Do Hong Quan, Chairman of Vietnam Composers' Association on Oct. 11 in Ha Long city.

At the reception, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh sincerely thanked all the composers participating in the festival for their cordial sentiment for Quang Ninh and Ha Long Bay. Also at the reception, the Secretary has briefed an overall introduction of Quang Ninh. He stressed that Quang Ninh is not only compared as "a Vietnam in miniature" but also the home to many well-known composers and singers of Vietnam. He hoped that more and more masterpieces of music about Ha Long Bay will be composed; at the same time, he believed that the festival will help promote cooperation and friendship between the two sides.

For his part, Mr. Rashid Kalimullin, Chairman  of Tatarstan' Composers Union expressed that he was very impressed by Ha Long Bay's beauty. He believed that with the support of Quang Ninh's leaders, the festival will be successful.
