On Sept. 25th in Ha Long city, a delegation of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations, the Russian Federation Institute for Fire Prevention and Fighting, and the Institute for Civil Defense paid a visit to Quang Ninh and worked with the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department
At the working session, Colonel Pham Cong Long, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department briefly introduced to the delegation about Quang Ninh province in general, and fire prevention and fighting and rescue situation of the province in particular. In recent years, Quang Ninh maintains the position among the leading localities of Vietnam in many fields with high growth, modern transport infrastructure, industrial zones and multi-storey residential buildings, however fire risks seem to be at high risk.
On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Dmitriev Igor Vladimorovich, Deputy Head of the Department of the Education and Training and Technical Science Management under the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation expressed his deep impression on Quang Ninh Police force’s achievements and hoped that the two sides would continue the cooperation in human resource training and science and technology application development for fire prevention and fighting.
