Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association works in Quang Ninh

On March 31, in Ha Long Bay, a delegation from the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association headed by Vladimia Petrovich Buianop-President of the Association had a meeting with representative of the relevant provincial departments regarding implementation of the cooperation project on  building Titov Monument on Titov island in Ha Long Bay.

At the meeting, the leaders of Quang Ninh Department of Foreign Affairs agreed with the idea to build Titov Monument on Titov Island in Ha Long Bay. He affirmed that this will be a significant work that helps to raise the solidarity, friendship and cooperation bewteen Vietnam and Russia.

For his part, Vladimia Petrovich Buianop thanked QNPPC for its support to the project which is planned to be implemented in early 2014 and completed by mid 2014. According to the President of the Association, the monument will be made of stones. However its appropriate location, scale and size need to be defined and unified by the two sides.

Vladimia Petrovich Buianop also expressed that the Association would like to build a boat named Titov in Ha Long Bay. It has called for Russian enterprises to involve in this project. A part from its economic value, Titov boat is expected to play a significant role in terms of politics and education.
