On Nov. 13, in Ha Long city, a delegation of Rodong Sinmun Newspaper from North Korean led by Mr. Ri Kyong Sup, Deputy Editor-in-Chief has visited Quang Ninh. Mr. Vu Ngoc Giao, Head of the Provincial Training and Propaganda Committee received the delegation.
A the reception, Mr. Vu Ngoc Giao has made a brief introduction about Quang Ninh’s socio-economic development in recent years, especially the future development orientation of the province. He also highlighted the importance of the friendship and traditional cooperation tie between Vietnam and Democratic People's Republic of Korea. In addition, Giao strongly affirmed that the Party, Government and People of Quang Ninh province always treasure and enhance the relationship between the two nations. He hoped that it will be promoted and further developed, contributing to the peace, cooperation and development at the regional and global level.
For his part, Mr. Ri Kyong Sup is very happy to be able to visit and work in Quang Ninh, and understand recent socio-economic achievement of Quang Ninh. Besides, he introduced a snapshot of Democratic People's Republic of Korea as well as the Rodong Sinmun Newspaper’s activities.
Mr. Ri Kyong Sup also wished to build cooperation relationship between Rodong Sinmun Newspaper and Quang Ninh communication agencies, aiming at contributing to the development traditional friendship between the two sides as well as enhancing mutual understanding of the people of the two countries.
