The request was made by Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc while inspecting tourism activities on Ha Long Bay, last week.
According to the report by the Quang Ninh Tourism Department, the quality of tourism services in Quang Ninh has been much improved and highly appreciated by tourists. Especially, safety, security, and environmental sanitation have been ensured for tourists visting Halong Bay.
In the upcoming time, the Department will propose measures to shorten time spending on buying tickets at the Tuan Chau International Wharf to ease the tourists when they visit Halong Bay. In addition, the investment of beaches on Ha Long Bay will be soon completed; of which Soi Sim beach will be put into use by late June, 2018.
After the survey at the Tuan Chau International Wharf and some of the spots on Ha Long Bay, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc hailed Ha Long People’s Committee and Ha Long Bay Management Board, as well as other relevant departments and sectors in effectively managing tourism activities.
He added that, Quang Ninh strives to become a modern, friendly and attractive tourism destination. Thus, tourism activities must be tightly controlled; all problems and limitations related to tourism must be dealt with as soon as possible.
Having said that, he asked relevant functional authorities to intensify their management of tourism services on Ha Long Bay to ensure the visits of the tourists to Ha Long Bay without being bothered.
