On Dec 8th, at Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center in Ha Long City, Vietnam Composers’ Association and Quang Ninh province co-hosted a concert themed “Rhythm of friendship”.
The concert was attended by Composer Do Hong Quan, chairman of Vietnam Composers’ Association, Conductor of Military Band Service of the National Guard of Russia, performers of Military Band Service of the National Guard of Russia, Quang Ninh-born people who had worked and studied in Former Soviet, and music lovers. It was also joined by People’s Artist Quang Tho and Singer Lan Anh.
This isthe first time that 80 performers of Military Band Service of the National Guard of Russia have played music in Quang Ninh. They performed 21 symphonies and popular Vietnamese and Russian songs. The concert was organized to boost Vietnamese and Russian tie in art performances and celebrate Russian year in Vietnam and Vietnamese year in Russia Federation.
