There are hundreds of relics, temples, pagodas, and shrines in Dong Trieu District. “Mỹ Cụ” Pagoda in “Mỹ Cụ” Hamlet, Tran Hung Dao Ward, Dong Trieu Town is becoming a new attraction luring visitors.
“Mỹ Cụ” Pagoda is lying on the side of Che Mountain. There is a rice field in front of the pagoda. From the pagoda, tourists can have an overview of Que River. It was recognized as a national art relic in 2000.
Ancient statues made from clay in the pagoda may attract tourists’ attention the most. They are in different sizes and shapes and even different mood. But they all reflect traditional arts and are well preserved.
"Mỹ Cụ” Pagoda is home to 126 valuable artifacts, including one dated back to Tran Dynasty, one in Le Dynasty, and 5 in Tay Son Brothers and Nguyen Dynasty.
Visiting the pagoda, tourists have chance to acquire the nation’s cultural and religious knowledge in the past time.
