On Mar 24th, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union held an online meeting on Provincial Youth Union Members’ Day 2020 with the theme “Quang Ninh’s youth proudly moving forward under the Party's leadership” and launched “Joining hands with Vietnam Youth Union to fight against Covid-19” week.
At the meeting, attendants recalled the 89-year-long tradition of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Mar 26). Under the Party’s leadership, Quang Ninh has developed in both quantity and quality with more than 700 youth unions and nearly 400,000 memberships.
Quang Ninh Youth Union raised a fund to fight against Covid-19 in response to the call of Vietnam Fatherland Front and Vietnam Communist Youth Union.
Besides, they reviewed the implementation of Youth Month in Mar. To date, they have carried out 3000 construction works with a cost of nearly 1.3 billion VND, planted 40,000 trees, and supported 7,000 online dossiers in the field of public administration service at level 3 and 4, sponsored 138 disadvantaged children.
