Thousands of yellow sunflowers are now in full bloom amongst the green forest in Hoanh Bo district. This picturesque scene has currently lured many nature-loving tourists.
Sunflower fields at the flower farm named Quang La Flower Paradise has an area of 4,000 square meters. These flower plants are often grown from September of one year to April of the following year, which means that travellers can enjoy the beauty of sunflowers from Spring to early Summer.
According to local farmers, this type of sunflower is imported mainly from Thailand and intercropped to extent the season. It takes each plant about 75 days to grow and produce flowers which often come into bloom within one month.
Grown in beds, each sunflower plant ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 meters in height, which is really appropriate for tourists to shink into the field and take great photos.
