A group of 22 Chinese tourists has visited craft villages in Quang Yen town in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
At the Hung Hoc craft village, the tourists had the chance to see people in the village split neohouzeaua and sharpen bamboo lath to make boats. This is the locality’s famous traditional craft which has been preserved and developed until now.
Leaving the Hung Hoc craft village, they were carried on boats to experience the colourful Cua Dinh river and the daily lives of fishermen of Ha Nam island. The tour closed when they stopped at Coc temple in Phong Coc precinct.
Since October 2013, after associating with Saigontourist Travel Service Company, Quang Yen’s tourism sector greeted nearly 150 foreign tourists, mainly from China. Tours in Quang Yen often take tourists to ten major destinations, introducing the history, culture, land and people of Quang Yen./.
