The picture won the prize is “New vitality on the rocky plateau” by Vu Quy painter ; two certificates of merit were rewarded to two oil paintings, namely“ land guardians” by Hoang Van Tai and “ Early morning in the village” by Pham Hung Cuong.
The exhibition took place from August 28th to September 6th , displaying 249 works by 218 professional artists and amateurs from 9 provinces and cities in the region.

The artists concentrated their interest on various topics, such as the Party, Uncle Ho and wars of national liberation and defence. Especially, the topics of agriculture, countryside, sea and islands are presented under new points of view and on new materials.
One prize A, one prize B, one prize C and 5 other prizes to outstanding works have been rewarded by the organizing committee.
