Quang Ninh welcomed 8.4 million tourist arrivals in the first seven months of this year, up 26% compared to the same period last year, according to the Tourism Department of Quang Ninh.
Meanwhile, the number of international arrivals was estimated at 2.8 million, and the tourism revenue rose by 30 percent against the same period last year, with VND14,500 billion.
These are the results of a series of activities and festivals held by the local authorities in order to attract more and more domestic and foreign visitors to Quang Ninh, and boost the image of the province. One of the highlights is the variety of activities of the National Tourism Year 2018 Ha Long- Quang Ninh.
The sector plans to continue enhancing the management to improve tourism business climate and better serve tourists coming to Quang Ninh. More new tourism products will also be promoted so as to allure visitors.
