According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the World Environment Day (WED) (June 5, 2012), this year has title of “Green Economy: Does it include you?” will emphasize the roles and responsibilities of organizations, individuals to build a green economy, oriented to a sustainable development for human beings.
In collaboration with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will hold a wide range of activities, such as the National meeting and activities responding to the WED (June, 5, 2012); a workshop and forum on the Green Economy; Talks and Exchanges on environmental protection issues along with launching movements and implementing environmental protection projects.
The Ministry also requested other ministries, the Central departments and sectors as well as the ones of the cities and provinces in the nationwide to organize campaigns promoting environmental protection, especially the issues relevant to the theme of the Green Economy.
