A ceremony was held by the Standing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG) on Mar. 26 to honor young people and talents of Quang Ninh province in 2018.
10 outstanding youth faces and 20 young talents were named at the ceremony to honor their excellent achievements in the areas of culture, art, scientific research, sports, and applying technology in production, national defence and start-up bussiness, etc. They are also the ones who stands for the spirit and passion of Quang Ninh youth to partly contribute to the province’s development in the 4.0 era.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky hailed great contributions of Quang Ninh youth in innovation and comprehensive development of the province over the past years. The provincial youth unions at all levels have made positive changes in their tasks performances.
He praised and acknowledged the contributions of the youth unions at all levels and the QMG in identifying, training, encouraging and honoring young talents throughout the province. He also asked the Youth Union to make plans on fostering and developing young talents so that they could continue their contributions to the development of the province.
At the ceremony, more than VND400 million were donated to the Provincial Young Talent Fund.
The annual event is a significant activity to mark the 88th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
