On November 19, Standing Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau had a coutersy meeting with leaders of 17 APICTA member organizations led by Chairman of APICTA Stan Singh, on the occasion of the on-going Asia - Pacific Information and Communications Technology Awards 2019 (APICTA) 2019 in Ha Long city.
At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Huy Hau introduced to the leaders of 17 APICTA member organizations about potentials, advantages and outstanding achievements of Quang Ninh province. He affirmed that in recent years, Quang Ninh province has put much emphasis on effectively exploiting the potentials and advantages for tourism and services development. Quang Ninh has also attached importance to investment in infrastructure fostering socio-economic development.
In addition, the province has paid much concerns with the IT development by building an e-government system and a centralized information technology center in Tuan Chau, etc, in an effort to promote and strengthen international integration in the fields of science and technology and information technology.
On behalf of the 17 member APICTA organizations' leaders, Stan Singh sincerely thanked QuangNinh's leader for the warm reception. He expressed his hope that through this visit, the 17 organizations could have more chances to meet, strengthen exchanges on technology development orientation and promote economic development and cultural exchange in the coming time.
