Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thang in Ha Long city on November 21 received Secretary of Kazakhstan's Nur Otan Party Central Committee K.B. Zhumasev.
Welcoming the guest, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thang made a brief introduction on socio-economic development of Quang Ninh province. He believed that good relationship between the two countries would be a good foundation for the cooperation possibilities, especially in tourism between Quang Ninh and Kazakhstan’s localities in the upcoming time.
At the reception, K.B. Zhumasev congratulated Quang Ninh for its achievements in socio-economic development, and foreign affairs activities. He said that Kazakhstan always attachs great importance to the development of the traditional partnership and cooperation tie with Vietnam, including Quang Ninh.
Introducing about Kazakhstan’s potential and strengths for tourism development, K.B. Zhumasev hoped that the two sides would enhance the collaboration in this area. He recommended that through the exchange activities between the two sides’ youth, friendship agreements could be signed by Quang Ninh and some localities of Kazakhstan. He also mentioned about the launching of the straight flights from Kazakhstan to Quang Ninh, and vice versa.
K.B. Zhumasev, and his entourage, visited Halong Bay on Nov. 22 before leaving for Hanoi city.
