On Feb. 18, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khang had a reception for the Chief of Russian Presidential Anti-Corruption Directorate on the occasion of his working visit to Vietnam.
Receiving the guests, Vice Chairman Bui Van Khang made a brief introduction of Quang Ninh's potential, advantages and development achievements in recent years, as well as its solutions to socio-economic performance, including the anti-corruption.
The Vice Chairman also hoped that the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Russia in general and Quang Ninh province with Russian localities in particular would continue to be promoted in many fields, especially in preventing and fighting against corruption.
The Chief of Russian Presidential Anti-Corruption Directorate, in turn, said he was impressed with Quang Ninh's achievements over the years thanks to its good performance in administrative reform and effectively controlling corruption.
The Russian official believes that the improvement of raising the anti-corruptioneffectiveness in each country would make an important contribution to the promotion of bilateral economic and trade relations.
