On Nov 7th, Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairman, Dang Huy Hau, had a courtesy meeting with a delegation led by Qualcomm Vice President of Taiwan and Southeast Asia, St Liew, who were on a visit seeking investment in the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairman emphasized that the province had been working with a number of big telecommunication technology firms in Vietnam to successfully carry out the project of e-government, thereby making a breakthrough in administrative reform. Quang Ninh is building itself as a smart city so such a telecommunication technology giant as Qualcomm is welcomed.
Qualcomm Vice President of Taiwan and Southeast Asia said that Quang Ninh had attracted big corporations’ investment thanks to great strides in socio-economic development. Qualcomm hoped to deploy joint telecommunication development projects with Quang Ninh in the coming time.
