In the firsrt quarter of 2016, Quang Ninh greeted 3,525,000 tourists' arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 9%, reported Quang Ninh department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Of which, the number of foreign arrivals reached over 1 million, a 33% increase over a year earlier. The total tourism revenue in the first quarter gained 1.835 bln, up 14% in comparision with the same period last year.
It is expected that there will be more and more tourists coming to Quang Ninh in this summer to visit Ha Long Bay, Co To island, Mong Cai city...In addition, Ha Long Carnival 2016 will be a highlight that alures a great deal of domestic and international visitors.
