In August 2019, Quang Ninh officially launched Smart City Governance Center at provincial level. After nearly one year of pilot running, the center has well supported provincial leaders in management, direction and performance.
The provincial Smart City governance Center is capable of managing and monitoring from general to detailed situation in all fields through data collected from more than 2,000 surveillance cameras installed across the province. In addition to the ability of managing and monitoring via images, the Center can visually supervise socio-economic assessment indicators, the quality of health care services, environmental information, the situation of handling administrative procedures as well as locals’ feedbacks on different issues in the locality. Thanks to good achievements, Quang Ninh is chosen to be one of three localities nationwide to have online connection with the Prime Minister at the launching ceremony of the Government and Prime Minister’s Governance Center.
