On May 9, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Nguyen Van Doc had a coutersy meeting with the Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Herminio Lopez Diaz, on the oocasion of his attendance at the 2015 Ha Long Carnival.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Doc strongly affirmed that Quang Ninh's party, Government and People always respect and are grateful to the Cuba's assistance to Vietnam, both in wartime and peacetime. Doc stressed that the relationship and copperation tie with Cuba's provinces will be promoted in economy, culture, and trade in the upcoming time. Therefore, he wished to receive more aids from Cuba in order to achieve this goal.
Cuban ambassador to Vietnam Herminio Lopez Diaz, in turn, said he was happy to be warmly welcomed in Quang Ninh. He also expressed admiration for Quang Ninh’s socio-economic achievements, and the 2015 Ha Long Carnival, which was successfully held. The ambassador also affirmed that Cuban Ammbassador to Vietnam will always support Vietnam in all fields.
On this occasion, the Cuban ambassador to Vietnam Herminio Lopez Diaz invited Quang Ninh's leaders to visit Cuba on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Cuba.
