Quang Ninh's pupils attend 2017 National Child Forum

4 outstanding pupils of high schools in Quang Ninh province, namely Nguyen Thao Phuong, Tran Ngoc Hung, Nguyen Lam Ngoc and Nguyen Hoang Minh Ngoc attended the four-day 2017 National Child Forum with the theme 'Children and preventing child abuse and violence against children" held last week in Ha Noi capital.

Co-organised by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the National Assembly’s Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children, and the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 2017 National Child Forum attracted more than 200 children aged between 9 and 16 years old from nearly 50 provinces and cities across the country.

During the forum, the participants were engaged in interesting activities and a discussion on preventing violence against children, especially school violence prevention with purpose of building a safe, healthy and friendly educational environment for children.

Particulary, they had an opportunity to talk with representative leaders of ministries, sectors and organisations about the prevention of child abuse and child marriage, child labour, and violence against children during a dialogue held on Aug. 26, as a part of the 2017 National Child Forum.
