“Quang Ninh has been considered as a locality with much breakthroughs and innovations in the development process. The success of Quang Ninh is greatly contributed by its strategic investors, including the FLC Group with a number of the major investment projects invested in the province”.
The statement was made by the Sercretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc during the meeting on Feb.25 in Ha Long City with the FLC Group regarding projects’ implementation, new investment plans as well as the proposals for the investment in Quang Ninh.
Accordingly, there have been 24 projects which are being conducted in 4 cities of Ha Long, Cam Pha, Uong Bi and Mong Cai and Van Don district. Of which, the two projects including the 18-hole Ha Long Star golf-link covering an area of 95.52ha with a modern and synchronous equipment system and the 51,4ha complex of conference halls, service areas and resorts have been operational and become the most attractive tourism products in Ha Long city meanwhile the Ha Khanh urban area which is located on an area of 87.4ha with 2,600 luxurious apartments and a 9-storey condominium that can meet the living demand of around 7,000 locals is now under implementation.
Besides, the FLC Group has also set up plans for 21 projects, namely Ngoc Vung services and resorts complex; Cai Rong pier; Hi-tech Medicine and Pharmacy Industrial zone in Van Don district; Ninh Duong New Urban Area and Hi-tech Agricultural Appliance in Mong Cai city, Nam Cau Trang pier; Luxurious commercial, service and apartment building in Ha Long city; the FLC Vung Duc Urban Area in Cam Pha city, or Yen Thanh urban area in Uong Bi city.
Along with reporting on the projects that have been implemented in Quang Ninh, the FLC’s representative also raised some of their new ideals to invest in some fo the projects like Aviation Vocational School; heliport or the outside cultural performing stage, etc. The Group pledged to continue accompanying Quang Ninh during the province’s development process in an attempt to raise the services’ quality and accelerate the projects’ progress, as well. On the other hand, the FLC group expressed their hope to be supported by Quang Ninh province in dealing with their problems facing the group during their implmentation.
To conclude the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc strongly affirmed that FLC is one of Quang Ninh’s strategic investors. Some of their projects carried out in the province has partly helped raise the proportion of the tourism and service industry in the province’s economic structure. “The projects’ implementation progress, however, is behind schedule”, stressed the Secretary.
Thus, in order to support the investor in their implemetation of the next projects, he asked relevant units to facilitate the FLC group so that their project could be conducted with the best conditions. Regarding the group’s proposals, he directed functional athourities to review and undertake specific measures to each projects. He also agreed to the new projects mentioned above by the FLC, and suggested that they should be conducted in the soonest time.
