On Mar. 19, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's leaders had a meeting with a delegation of the Toray International group headed by Mr. Eizo Tanaka, Chairman of the Board.
In his speech at the meeting, Mr. Eizo Tanaka stressed that his group is focusing on foreign markets, especially Vietnam. Regarding Hai Ha Industrial park, Mr. Eizo Tanaka highlighted its advantages, namely: geographical location, incentives, inside and outside infrastructure of the park, especially the transport infrastructure is under construction. He also proposed Quang Ninh to have incentives to attract and retain high quality human resource and assist the investors in recruiting skilled labor force
For their turns, Quang Ninh's leaders strongly affirmed that Quang Ninh considers Japan as a reliable strategic partner of the province and wished to attract investment from Japan into Quang Ninh.
Quảng Ninh promised to offer the Toray International group the best support for their investment survey in the province so that they would make decision to invest in Quảng Ninh as soon as possible.
Established in 1986 to serve as the trading arm of the Toray Group, Toray International specializes in garment and chemicals industries with a wide range of projects implemented in many countries around the world. In Vietnam, it is seeking investment opportunities in the Hai Hai Industrial park
In 2016, the group gained the total revenue of US$ 21 bln.
