On Mar. 14, in Ha Long city, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc chaired a working session with the Sun Group regarding the projects implemented by the Group in Quang Ninh.
According to the report, from 2015 to date, the Sun Group have carried out 12 investment projects in Quang Ninh province. Of which, a number of key components under the Ha Long Ocean Park project have been completed and put into operation, making a highlight of Quang Ninh tourism. The Group is currently speeding up the progress of the Ha Long Sun Square project to be completed by April. 28 for the opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2018.
Other major projects including Ha Long-Van Don expressway and Quang Ninh International Airport are expected to complete in Mid-2018. The remaining ones are now under construction or preparation for investment.
In the upcoming time, the Group plans to continue their investments in projects on international buidling complex at the area of Bai Chay Wharf; projects on trade, tourism, services, hotels and apartment tower; and the luxurious resorts at the areas of Yen Lap lake, Loi Am pagoda, ect.
At the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Duc Long strongly affirmed that Quang Ninh always considers the Sun Group as a stratergic investor and partner. Thus, Quang Ninh pledges to offer the best conditions and highest support for the Group during their investment implementation in the province.
Addressing the session, the leader of Quang Ninh’s Party Nguyen Van Doc stressed that Quang Ninh is now focusing on completing the infrastructure system, making impetus to foster the socio-economic development and attract investors.
He highly appreciates the Sun Group’s determination in their investments in Quang Ninh over the years, and requested the Group to speed up the progress of the Ha Long-Van Don expressway and Quang Ninh International Airport projects.
He also asked the Group to continue their invesment studies in Co To Island district and accelerating the investment of the Seaport and Industrial Cluster Development Project in Mac dynasty swamp (in Quang Yen town) and Hon Net-Con Ong general port.
Regarding the Social housing project at Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long city, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc directed relevant departaments to closely collaborate with the invetsor to timely deal with problems arising from the project implementation process.
