On August 30th, a delegation of Quang Ninh’s Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, departments, and organizations, led by the Provincial Party Committee’s Secretary Nguyen Van Doc laid wreaths and burnt incense at Ha Long Municipal Memorial and Vu Van Hieu Statue to mark 74th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (Sept 2).
In a sacred atmosphere, the participants observed a minute’s silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation’s re-unification, national construction and protection as well as the people’s happiness.
In front of the hallowed memorial to the heroic martyrs, the leaders vowed to follow Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle; exceed the socio-economic development targets for 2019, and build Quang Ninh as a dynamic economic area in Vietnam’s Northern key economic region.
