On Mar 27, in Ha Long City, the Department of Health organized online meeting on the continuance of Covid-19 prevention and control. Quang Ninh’s Standing Vice-chairman, Dang Huy Hau, attended the meeting.
The Standing Vice-chairman emphasized the escalation of Covid-19 pandemic and affirmed the efforts of health sector in preventing and controlling the disease. He required the sector to make prompt response plans and even re-plan to be suitable with situation may occur; take initiative in giving consultancy on Covid-19 prevention and control in the province; and mobilize all human source to join the fight against the disease.
Since Covid-19 outbreak, Quang Ninh has set up 16 quick response teams, 26 emergency teams, 10 specialized medical teams. The province also spends 173,5 billion VND on medical supply. The health sector has conducted medical checks for local people at all 13 districts, towns, and cities.
In Quang Ninh, by 8 am on Mar 27, 2 positiveCovid-19 cases (patient No 52 and patient No 149) are being treated at the field hospital No 2. Patient No 52 has been tested negative for the first time and patient No 149 is in stable heath status. 106 are quarantined at medical units and 824 at isolation places. To date, 2,940 people have ended their quarantine period.
