In the framework of its working visit to the Middle East region from May 12-19, Quang Ninh's delegation led by Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Doc worked with some of the Dubai's corporation (in the United Arab Emirates).
On the first working day (May 12), the delegation had working session with Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) which is a sovereign wealth fund owned by the government of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Doc affirmed that with the support from the McKinsey & Company Corporation which is also the ICD's consulting, the master plan for Quang Ninh's socio-economic development has been approved by the government.
On the same day, the delegation had a coutersy meeting with Embassy of Vietnam in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thach, Ambassador plenipotenary and extraordinary of Vietnam in Abu Dhabi strongly afirmed to make the best efforts to be a friendly hub speeding up the cooperation between UAE and Vietnam in general and with Quang ninh province in particular in all fields, especially in economy, education and culture...
On May 13, the provincial delegation had a meeting with Nakheel Corporation regarding the implementation of the MoU between Nakheel Corporation and Quang Ninh. Chairman of the Corporation pledged to continue their investment in projects in Quang Ninh. He also hoped that the corporation's investment will be a great contribution to the province's socio-economic develpment.
To conclude the meeting, Doc suggested that the Corporation should kick off their projects in earliest convinience. He committed to provide the corporation with the best conditions during their investment in Quang Ninh.
