During the working visit of Quang Ninh's delegaion in the Republic of Korea (RoK) to learn from Korea's experience in buiding a smart city, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long chaired a meeting with leaders of EBS and Hancom groups on July 31st.
At the meeting, Quang Ninh's Chairman affirmed that in the strategy to build smart city and e-government, Quang Ninh always highly focuses on education and traning high quality human resouce. He also added that the RoK is the biggest foreign investor of Vietnam, and Quang Ninh welcomes a large number of Korean tourists every year. Thus, he wished the EBS group would closely cooperate with Quang Ninh Television and Radio to set training and education channel in accordance with the demand of developing the human resouce of the province; and cooperate with Ha Long University in teaching Korean language for students.
Working with the Hancom group - Korea's leading software developer, Quang Ninh's Chairman expressed his hope that the group would send its experts to Quang Ninh to consult and cooperate with Quang Ninh in developing IT infrastructure for the smart city, as well as support the province in training IT in order to meet the requirements of running the smart city and e-government project of Quang Ninh.
On August 1, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long and his entourage visited the Incheon city and worked with the leaders of the city.
