Chairman of Quang Ninh province Nguyen Duc Long had a meeting with Executive Board of the Quang Ninh Bussiness Association on May 30, in Ha Long city.
\With 16,175 enterprises based in the provincve, Quang Ninh is one of the first locality in the country to implement the Government’s resolutions on supporting and developing enterprises to 2020 with effective and practical measures. The province regularly organizes conferences and meetings in order to listen to and deal with problems facing the enterprise community.
Since 2014, 9 meetings with 4,500 investors have been held to resolve the enterprises’ requests. Various new ways have been used to receive feedback and proposals from the enterprises, including fanpage; “coffee with bussinessmen”, etc. As a result, Quang Ninh bussinesses tops the PCI rank 2017 for the first time.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman of Quang Ninh Nguyen Duc Long strongly affirmed that Quang Ninh always treasures great contributions of the bussiness community to the province’s development. With objective evaluations by the enterprises reflecting in the PCI or DDCI, Quang Ninh has taken robursts measures to timely deal with their difficulties, and offered them favourable invetsment climate.
Focusing on Quang Ninh’s targets to remain the PCI championship status in 2018, Quang Ninh’s chairman calls for the bussiness community to continue promoting their responsibility and raising their honest and objective voice in assessing the Provincial Competiveness Index.
Regarding the meeting with enterprises that is planned to take place in late June, the Chairman of Quang Ninh asked the Quang Ninh Association of Enterprises to collect ideas, questions and proposals from the enterprises and groups them in categories to send to the contact via the website : http://doanhnghiep.quangninh.gov.vn.
The Chairman hoped that all the enterprises based in the province would connect with each other in order to creat the most powerful srength in their bussiness activities and investments. He also stressed on Quang Ninh’s target to have 25,000 enterprises by 2020.
