On Aug.12, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long had a working session with Mr. Danny Hoffmann-the Managing Director of Gold Star Line Ltd., (Hong Kong) regarding receiving the ACS route's vessels docking at Cai Lan Port.
Speaking at the session, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long affirmed that Quang Ninh is doing its best to reach the province's target of rapid and sustainable growth. Especially, he focused on the tourism and service development, which are determined as the two breakthroughs for the rapid and sustainable growth to ensure that by 2020, Quang Ninh will become a province with the economic structure of services - industry, a world class tourism destination and a grow pole of the northern part in paritcular and Vietnam in general.
Quang Ninh paricularly pays attention to develop seaport logistics. Of which, the province has set strategy to develop the two deep seaports, namely Cai Lan and Hon Net. To date, Cai Lan port has a capacity of receiving the 5,000 TEU vessels.The leader also committeed to offer the best conditions in terms of administrative procedures and minimize the expenditure of loading and unloading goods for the Gold Star Line Ltd., in particular and other lines in general when docking at Cai Lan Port.
Mr. Danny Hoffmann, the Gold Star Line Ltd.'s Managing Director, in turn, expressed his pleasure to be in Quang Ninh, and see its possitive changes.
He hailed great efforts of Cai Lan port in offering rapid and effective administrative services for the line.
