On September 7, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Van Thang inspected the planning management as well as the progress and quality of some key transport works in Quang Yen town.
Currently, there are 2 transport infrastructure projects which are being implemented in Quang Yen Town, including the projects on improving and upgrading the 331B provincial road and the route 338. These are the two roads that play a vital role in linking most of the wards and communes to the heart of Quang Yen Town, the Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway and to industrial parks.
After more than 1 year of construction, to date, the main components of the two construction works have basically been completed. Besides investing in infrastructure, Quang Yen town is currently concentrating on completing general construction maste plans.

Inspecting the progress of those two projects, Chairman Nguyen Van Thang requested the investor and the contractors to speed up the progress of the remaining components of the two projects to ensure their quality and effectiveness after going into use.
Quang Ninh's Chairman emphasized that Quang Yen has many opportunities to promote the socio-economic development. Strategic investors have chosen Quang Yen as an advantageous locality where they can explore investment opportunities and carry out their large-scale projects.
"Thus, in order to meet the investors' demands in the coming time, Quang Yen needs to focus on investment in developing the infrastructure of the coastal economic zone, in which priority should be given to the land fund in Mac Dynasty Swamp and Rut river areas to develop seaports and logistics services", the Chairman urged the People Committee of Quang Yen town. "Besides, the land fund management and land clearance must be strictly tightened in accordance with current regulations to ensure the project implementation progress", he added.
