According to Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, during the 3-day- National Day vacation, the province welcomed around 92,000 tourist arrivals, a 7% year on year increase, including over 20,000 international arrivals, up 8% over the same period last year. The total revenue was around 190 bil.VND.
Accordingly, the number of staying guests in the province was estimated at nearly 45,000, including 13,000 tourist arrivals from 60 nationalities. The room capacitiy of 4-5 star hotels in Ha Long City reached about 65 – 75%. Ha Long Bay welcomed more than 28,000 tourist arrivals, equal to 95% compared to the figure in the 2018 National Day holiday. According to the evaluation from specialized agencies, safe and thoughtful tourism environment, ensured food safety and hygience are key factors to lure more tourists to Quang Ninh.
