According to the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first ten months this year, total tourist arrivals to Quang Ninh province reached over 6 million, up 10 percent compared to the same period last year, including more than 2 million foreign arrivals, up 2 percent. The total revenue from tourism gains over VND 4.2 bln, seeing an increase of 15% compared to the same period last year.
Notably, only in Oct, a wide range of political, cultural, sport and tourist activities were held to celebrate 50 year annivesary of Quang Ninh, which drew a great number of visitors to the province. As reported, the number of tourist arrivals to Quang Ninh in Oct soars more than 474,000, including 205,000 international ones.
