Quang Ninh welcomed 9.2 million tourist arrivals in the first eight months of this year, up 25% compared to the same period last year, according to the Department of Tourism.
Of which, the province greeted over 3.2 million international tourists, increased 18% and earned over VND 16,000 billion in tourism revenue, up 29% against the same period last year.
These figures reflected great efforts of the fucntional authorities in intensifying tourism promotion and advertisment as well as the enhancement of tourism inspection and management.
Quang Ninh’s tourism sector continues ensuring a healthy tourism envionment, strengthening tourism promotion and attracting investment in tourism to offer unique products and attract more hight yeild tourists to the province.
